I don't know about now, but when I went to Forest Hill in Jackson, we were the Rebels, had a Col. Reb mascot, used Forward Rebels as our fight song and the whole nine yards. No one ever said a word to us that I know of.

I'll repeat my statement from earlier in the season: Florida is the best team in the country. Bar none. Not Texas, not USC, not UGA. Florida. They have a tough time with us and State for whatever reason and I'm grateful for the win.
