Re: A&M Game Thread

Curse of the black bear... Or some other unworldly powers that be. I literally don't know how much more I can stand with this school... Basketball, football, baseball... Same story every year... I've been an ole miss rebel for 26 years and I'm 26 years old and let me tell you when it comes to sport...

Re: TY CHF

I am very happy to be 3-1. But anything less would have been unacceptable. The 3 teams we beat we should have beat. We will find out how improved we really are two weeks from now. This weekend probably wont tell us much except that Bama is very good. But this is what I expected we would be after th...

We have made it through the end of our OoC schedule & have won the games we were supposed to. I can't tell you the last time that happened. Now let's learn how to take care of the football, b/c Lord know that winning in conference is going to be hard enough. This is not a blanket pass on the sta...

Re: What exactly did Freeze say pregame?

If there was nobody in the picture, thats coaching. To a the class of 2, this is the point that most have been making. There was someone in the picture & at the play on most every play. Making the play requires our "excuses", of size, speed, & experience. We are currently lacking ...

Re: The Day After

But, IMO, this one's on the defensive coaches. This is where we disagree. I will acknowledge that the D coaches are responsible to an extent but not totally as you have stated. The problem on Sat night was the talent level, inexperience, size, & yes, coaching. The blame for Sat night falls on N...

Re: is 66 the mark of the beast?

You can try to divide and conquer all you want Rick. I don't need Eric to express my opinion and he doesn't need me. I have not called for any dismissals nor would I. I was simply commenting on the worst defensive performance I have ever seen and I was told i was wrong because we didn't quit. I hav...

Re: What exactly did Freeze say pregame?

Maybe we're a lot farther away than we thought. I believe this is the problem that we are having Eric. We are farther away than you, & to a greater extent Chuck, thought. I think the rest of us understood that we were not going to be very good. The O has been a huge surprise to most of us. UT w...

Re: is 66 the mark of the beast?

So what is the time line that we can actually criticize something on our football team besides Bo Wallace? Two years? Andy Kennedy time? Objective criticism is fine at all times. Chuck has not been objective, Eric. RebelliousB's copied post is very accurate. JB's statement that there is plenty of b...

Re: The Day After

Why you gotta be so hostile? Seriously, though. Let's just act like that defensive performance never happened. A mulligan. Texas is as good as the Giants and we should just leave it at that. Nothing to learn or take away from that game. It's not the players fault becuase their just too little to co...

Re: The Day After

We had no sacks, no int's, I think they fumbled once, but recovered it. We gave up 676 yards on defense. Good coaches make adjustments and do there best to neutralize what was going on. Are we going to completely stop them? Hell no. But I really believe we could've slowed them down. I don't really ...

Re: The Day After

The guys never gave up, that I agree totally. They played hard and were heavily outmanned. IMO this comes down to coaching. Defensive coaching. On a lot of those long passes, we were there, but we didn't turn around and find the ball. Coaching. They were bigger, but there was also some very poor ta...

Re: The Day After

I think looking for someone that quit or someone didn't prepare during the week or someone is an awful coach is just a poor excuse for us fans not to be satisfied. We are not a very good team right now. Our players are playing out of their league. Why can't that be accepted by fans? It is what it i...
