That is the bad thing about playing in the cold. Pitchers tend to increase injuries in the cold because the arms don't stay warm, especially when your team is hitting the ball like the Rebs have been and the half-innings take 30 minutes. But, 3-6 weeks is not that bad. Hopefully we will have his bat...

J. Henry is probably loving the sound of that. What happened with Jordan (I am assuming that is the henry we are talking about) and the Minnesota catcher? Nothing happened. I know that he is going to be stealing a lot this year, and having an inexperienced catcher would only help in doing that. Yes...

Do NOT want to be #1. We need to play into it, not get it by the result of others losing. Plus some of our guys are young/new to the team. Don't need the pressure (and target) of being #1. #4 is a good place to be at this point in the season. Let #1 come up about mid-May. But I wouldn't complain if...

Re: Question From Minnesota Fan

Will it be tough to get a general admission ticket if we just walk up on Sunday? Do you have to take a chair to the game? I've been talking to some folks in Memphis and they are giving me conflicting information. I had the opportunity to meet a few Rebel fans last year in the Metrodome and I would ...

Being down here in cajun country we don't get to hear/see squat. Was hoping games would go out over the Rebel Radio Network where I might be able to stream t...

Thanks for the info, Oxford. It should spark some discussion on how well the O will match up with their pitchers and vice versa. Good idea.

Friday can't get here soon enough for me. I am going to try to make the Friday and Saturday games. These may be the last two games I make it to prior to moving to Austin, so I want to see a No-No from Lance on Friday and about 12 runs scored on Sat. with Satterwhite pumping about 98 mph to close it ...

I know when I drink at the games, by the mid- to late 3rd quarter, I really don't give a d**n who wins. Which is usually a very good thing, becaue the team that wins is usually not Ole Miss. Sometimes I don't even find out who won 'til the next day.

As long as Bianco has been here, there seems to have been players that were just average or saw very little playing time the year before, and then just step up and become awesome players the next year. I don't expect anything different this year. I remember when Justin Henry came in to play 1st base...

Well, I think that is a chance a kid takes when he goes to a certain school. And da*n, it's one freakin' year. Look how old Tony Fein is and he is doing fine. Mallet should look at it as another year to have his school paid for by Arkansas. Sounds like to me he has those "I don't need school, I...

I will go if I still live in Memphis. My wife and I are probably going to move to Austin, TX here pretty soon. But, if I am still here, I plan to go to the Red-Blue game and the OM vs. LSU baseball game later that day. That will be an awesome day, especially if the baseball beats the sh** out of LSU.

Except for the weight thing.
I'm sure Nutt and Nix will get his butt in the gym and weight room to alleviate that problem.
