David Brandt just reported on his blog that Bittle will not make the trip to Hoover, as there has been no improvement in the 'stiffness' in his bicep.

Apparently he will be in the area to see Dr. James Andrews sometime this week to explore options.

yeah, he will technically be in the B'Ham area visiting Dr. Andrews, but I believe we can only havea a 25 man roster for the tourney, which has to be finalized prior to Wed, so even if he makes a miraculous recovery by Sunday, he can't be added to the roster.

I know that! I posted that as a "tongue in cheek" irony since Dr. Andrews is in Birmingham. He is close enough he could come over and watch a game if he wanted to.
