After 8, Rebels lead 11-2. So much static I could not hear the particulars. Gotta go. Signing off.

Per a post on Rivals, Rebs win 11-4. Gametracker froze and I could not get the audio after about the 7th inning.

Good game. The offense is having problems bringing guys in when we have a guy on 3rd with less than 2 down. Same problem as last year. But clutch hitting is MUCH better than last year.
Satterwhite did a lot better this week than last week. Rory McKean had a problem today but eventually got the win.
ISU's got some really good pitchers. Hard to rough them up.
Matt Smith is BACK! Had a multiple hit game last night and a HR today. You wouldn't know he was injured a week ago.

Seriously!!! I wonder what the extent of his injury was. He's playing like it was nothing, but I know you guys were saying he looked really hurt when he came out. Glad to see him back in and playing well.oxfordrebel wrote:Good game. The offense is having problems bringing guys in when we have a guy on 3rd with less than 2 down. Same problem as last year. he tore a ligament in his shoulder. with surgery to repair he would be out a year; however he cannot injure it further, so he decided to tough it out. Will not pitch again this season.
