Thanks for the game reports. The Rebelfaithful Gamewatcher/tracker always works like a charm. One thing seems certain about this year's team. They are not going to let us relax.

That's what the he!! I'm talkin' 'bout. Play with some Rebel grit that don't quit! I think the Jayhawks showed us last night what happens when you don't give up until the fat lady sings. :x <---- The gritty gameface

Y'all, I wasn't kiddin when I said in another thread that I thought the USA series would be tougher than the LSU series this week. We'll throw our best pitchers and fight with the most intensity when LSU rolls into town. USA we're going to just have to man up and go get 'em.

Great win. I like the way we are fighting back IF we get behind. We were not doing that 2-3 weeks ago. We would get down and drop our heads. That Friday Vandy game may have sparked us.

Let's hope so.

Lookin under the surface, you have to be happy with the way the staff battled back after a tough 3rd inning (5 runs, 4 unearned) and put up 7 goose eggs after that, allowing the offense chipped away that lead.

Look for Jordan to get some looks at 2nd or 3b, especially if someone gets hurt. He played SS in Little League and in High School so he can play the IF

It is not his defense that is the problem. He is a great RF'er. It is his performance at the plate. His on base percentage and BA was horrible. Although it is great when he gets on because you can pretty much count on a steal.

Definitely been Henry's offense. Last year he batted .376 with a .418 slugging %. This year his batting average is .255 with a .302 slugging %. Down 100 points in each category.

Also, last year his on base percentage was .435 and this year it's .325. He's really struggled this year at the plate. His D is great, it's just his O has been pretty bad. Hopefully, he can right the ship.
