My thoughts on the half: Ouch. I thought we were looking decent to start with, putting points on the board first, a couple of decent defensive plays. Not too shabby. But then we began to fell apart in the 2nd qtr. Why in the world are we getting penalties on EVERY PLAY?? Stupid ones, too. Settle down, boys... there is a whole second half to play. Get our heads straight in the locker room and come out renewed and ready to kick some croc tail. BUT, I am proud to be a part of the first turnover in Florida's 2008 season.
We're not snobs... we're just better than you.
We are the most inept team in Div 1. I've never seen so many dumb penalties and mistakes. It's going to take years to undo all the damage that has been done to our football program the past 3 years. We look like bumbling idiots! This is another game that we are just giving away. No way it should be 17 - 7 at half. At worst, it should have been 17 -10 when we had a first down after a 30 yard run by Bolden.
I don't know if I can take much more of this kind of play. Let's for once lose because we deserve to lose. Let's stop beating ourselves.

My thoughts exactly, Snead is holding on to the ball way to long waiting for plays to develope.Heath wrote:Where are some screens and short passes when the Florida D is over persuing? It looks like we either run the ball or TRY to pass it long.
Whatever the case may be, the offense needs to do something.
I would think we need screens and crossing routes to help the O-line out just a little bit.
I thought the delayed draw was a great call, unfortunetly that was one of the few I saw in the second qtr.
