"To help his players visualize what he calls a "mousetrap game" Nutt has placed mousetraps, big ones, any place in the building where players might see them and be reminded what's on the line this weekend."
"Sometimes like big ol' rats, they get to feeling good about themselves. That's when that rat walks into the trap thinking there's a big ol' piece of cheese there, but it's not. It's about attitude now, and how we approach things. It's about having respect for Monroe. Forget their record. This is like the Super Bowl for them."
I often hear of things like this coaches do to motivate players. Very creative. Who wouldn't like playing for a guy who does stuff like this?

That article said the players were puzzled at first about it.....apparently practice is very high spirited since they feel at LAST they have something truly tangible to play for...a bowl bid...and that the more games won from here on out, the better the bowl. Hotty damned Toddy!
