Well, the error bug has struck the Hogs for the second game. Rebels were trailing 3-2 until the 7th when the Rebel offense went wild highlighted by Kyle Henson's 3 RBI homer.
Middle of 8th:
Rebels 9
Hogs 3
BTW, LSU has LOST to State tonight! If the Rebels can hold on and win they will be tied with the Tigers headed into the final day of the regular season. Florida has also lost tonight which puts them a game behind the Rebels. IF State can pull one more upset against LSU tomorrow, IF the Rebels can hang on tonight, and IF the Rebels can get the sweep tomorrow, the Rebels will be the SEC regular season champs outright.
What a difference a week makes!

And that's the game! Baker did an amazing job to shut the hogs down. The Rebels are tied for #1 in the SEC! The first time in school history to win 19 SEC games in a single season!
And the Rebels have taken the series over the Hogs!
If the Rebels win and LSU loses tomorrow then the Rebels will be the #1 seed in Hoover. If both teams win then Ole Miss will be the #3 seed in Hoover. If the Rebels loose tomorrow then it will depend on what happens to Bama. Auburn beat Bama last night, but their game tonight has been suspended due to weather and they'll finish it up at 11 am tomorrow. It's going to be a WILD day tomorrow!!
Final:
Rebels 9
Hogs 3

Why would Ole Miss be the #3 seed if LSU and Ole Miss win tomorrow? The only other two teams in the mix are Florida and Bama, and Ole Miss has the series win over both of them. So, who would be #2 if LSU and OM both win tomorrow?

East Champion = Florida = #2 seed. after your division champs..seeding is based on records and tiebreakers only.

Great weekend! Very proud of our Rebels. It will be very hard not to host a Regional now.

I trust the Jackyl about as much as I trust the selection committee of the NCAA.

I really think this weekend has clinched a Regional hosting spot. Now we're playing for a national seed and this will go a long way toward that.
