Look at this quote from Parish Alford's afternoon blog today:

"Bianco on Bittle’s status: “We feel very confident he will throw eventually, and we hope it will be in the next week or so or sometime this season for us.”

Personally, and this is in NO WAY official, I believe Bianco is caught in some kind of X-Files type alternate universe where he thinks that the more he TALKS about things going our way the more things WILL go our way.



How about this Mike. Forget about Bittle, and McKean for that matter (until we know for certain that he becomes eligible) and PREPARE THIS TEAM TO GO TO OMAHA WITH THE PERSONNEL WE CURRENTLY HAVE!!!!!!!!!

We go 2 and out in our own regional and I'm going to figure out how to kill a man with my thoughts.

You might be right. This comes from the presser today........... I'll hold out hope for the Super...

A: “He wasn’t out there today (at practice), so he won’t dress this weekend.”
