Maybe not too surprised Florida got in, but am a little surprised that they were a #10....

Yeah, you've got all those pretend conferences whose champion has to get an automatic bid. There are enough of those to cover all the 12 - 15 seeds and the 16 seed. If an at large bid goes to an SEC or major conference school, they are almost always at least a 10 or 11 seed. Exception to that rule is traditionally Ole Miss.

Even though the NIT is pretty pointless.

I think a 2nd round matchup with Memphis. Would be pretty fun to watch either way.

Plus who knows. Maybe Ole Miss and MSU can play again the finals.

Yeah! Tha would have to at least tie a record to loose to MSUx 3 times in one season!

Before we start thinking about a matchup with Memphis, we may need to consider the following scores:

Ole Miss 84 Auburn 74 (at Auburn)

Troy 81 Auburn 77 (at Auburn)

not a whole lot of difference there....just sayin'....

And the potential match with Mississippi State requiring us to actually BEAT Memphis is a pipe dream!
